This beautiful little peanut turned one! Aria definitely did amazing during her one year session! She has a good nap beforehand, which made her SO happy to take photos. Although, mom and dad did say that she is normally just a happy girl in general. You can tell in these pictures that that is a true statement, I mean, look at the heart melting smile.

I like to talk to my clients before every session about what colors they would like incorporated into their session. When I was chatting with Aria’s mom, she mentioned that her birthday party theme was Alice in Wonderland. I was so excited about this and though it was the cutest idea ever. She mentioned that we didn’t have to make it “scream” Alice in Wonderland, but she had an Alice dress for Aria, and would like to use it.

That’s when I got the idea to make this flower wall that you see in her photos, and have been wanting to for a while, since it’s pretty trendy right now. Alice in Wonderland is very magical and full of color and larger than normal surroundings, so I thought this would be a great background. So I set out on my Silhouette Cameo and cut out different shapes of flowers and leaves, and assembled these gorgeous oversized flowers. It was such a joy for me to make, as I really love to make every session unique and try not to use the same with my sessions. Aria and her parents loved this background too, so it made it all the more joyful for me.

Aria is one joyful AND a curious moving girl. She would sit so awesome, and then vroom, she was taking off to see something new. 🙂 That is so typical one year old though, now that they move where they want. Little ones’ curiosity intrigues me. They have their own personalities and they just want to discover this world we live in. I can already tell she will be doing wonderful things in her life. Watch out world. 🙂
