Meet Baby Evie! I have had the pleasure of photographing this growing family for a couple years now. In fact, this was the 9th session I have had with them, how AMAZING is that? Gabriel, her big brother got his whole first year photographed, starting with photos taken in the hospital. Evie’s photographic journey started with a gender reveal session, maternity session, and then I had the honor of being able to photograph the live birth! What an incredible experience that was! I have photographed 1 other birth and also got to see my niece being born, but each one I have been a part of has had its own kind of incredible. I am truly amazed at what a woman’s body can endure and create.

We set up the newborn session just 6 days after she was born. In that short 6 days, I got her special outfit and accessory all sewn up, like I do for every session! Evie’s mom, and I, thought that she was look even more beautiful in a deeper pink or purple color, to go well with her skin tone. When I went to the fabric shop, I found SO many fabrics that would look amazing on her! These colors were definitely made for Evie 😉

The session was so much fun, as always with this sweet family. Big brother Gabriel did so awesome posing with her, especially right before a nap! He never ceases to amaze me when cooperating for sessions, especially at such a young age. Grandma was visiting from Texas too, so we were sure to get some Grand-kiddo pictures with her. Family pictures are some of my favorites (okay, its all my favorite, but.. 😉 ) so we got a variety of family shots between the nursery and mom and dads room. How adorable is Evie’s nursery? Love getting the details of the nursery!
